Monitor on lockdown: Those who want to stay logged into a computer while they are away from it, but need to prevent others from using it, can lock the screen. When returning to the computer, users should type their login name and password to continue working.
Mac users:
1. Open system preferences, click security.
2. Select "require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen saver."
